Which snake is this? Please help.

Follow up:

We were emailed these images of a large snake busy swallowing a rather large monitor. Apparently this happened at a location in Gauteng, South Africa. Sorry, but we are not sure exactly which snake this is and if it even is an endemic snake. Any herpetologist that can help out here - please share with us your knowledge.

This seems to be an exotic snake, probably an escaped or released pet.
